A 19th century Paris porcelain and gilt metal dog's head bonbonniere, modelled with open mouth, the foliate engraved hinged cover engraved to the interior 'Chickie to Pet Valentine Day 1891, the inside of the neck with painted 7 and underglaze blue mark, length 8.5cm
Chip around inner neck just below gilt mount, several small spots of light wear to the enamels. otherwise good condition.
