H.M Queen Elizabeth II - Two hand written and signed letters from Mrs Montaudon Smith, French teacher, known to family as Monty. Dated May 18th 1969 and May 15th 1970, one letter of thanks and apologies for not writing earlier and indicating that the Lilac is now out at Windsor and everything is looking quite lovely, the other letter thanks Monty for her birthday wishes and this too indicates that the Lilac is out at Windsor and a bunch will be on its way.
