A rare 1860s cream silk grosgrain wedding dress, with bustle apron, a bow attachment and floral waxed headdress, the bodice with front satin buttons, trimmed with cream silk satin and rows of silk fringe, sleeves with decorative bow and lace edging, the bustle apron with deep silk fringed scallops and separate fringed bow, skirt lace edge to base. All still with original Redmayne + Co. box. Skirt front 97cm long.
