A 19th century French Officers sword in its steel scabbard. The blade etched with the makers name: J. NORY. ARMURIER. PARIS. Engraved to the flat edge of the heavy T section blade: L' Armes de Chat 9 bre 1893. Blade length 89.5cms.
The scabbard is somewhat rusted and the bottom is bent and dented, 92cms long, blade is not bent out of shape, looks to be good overall condition
