1943 Third type P.O.W card from Dutch Sgt. Bouwknegt in No. 1 P.O.W Camp to his wife in Malang, Java, strangely with boxed "Malay Police" cachet and a British censor cachet, presumably missent to the U.K by the Japanese and subsequently returned, readdressed to Perlindoegan Solo, his wife apparently interned with manuscript "C.P 2769 / 3" (altered to "6"). Also a 1943 3½c Netherlands Indies postcard from Mrs Bouwknegt in Malang to her husband in a P.O.W Camp in Java D, violet "Transferred to Thailand" cachet, endorsed "Head Quarter Group Thai No 11390" and "Hut 6", both with Japanese censors. The first with minor staining, a very unusual pair. (2). Photo on Page 30.
