A smokebox numberplate, 60843, from a LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 No 4814 built in December 1938, renumbered 843 in 1946, becoming BR 60843. Its BR sheds were York, Copley Hill, Tweedmouth and Ardsley from where it was withdrawn in October 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
