WW2 RAF Chemically Heated Flying Gloves. A good pair of original, rare, chemically heated flying gloves. These were issued as of July 1940 as an interim measure for heated flying clothing. Designed to be used with the 'Ever Hot' chemical reacting bags which could stay warm for 6 hours. Constructed in a leather shearling material, white in colour with leather thumb and straps. Fur lined. The adjustment straps are very nicely stamped with the 'AM and crown and 'AID'. Some age and service related wear with some soiling. Generally fair condition and seldom seen.
