ENGLISH SCHOOL LATE 19TH CENTURY AFTER THOMAS ROBINSON (c.1767 - 1810) Portrait of Henry Percy, seated holding a book Oil on canvas, 99.5 x 84cm Inscribed with sitter's details and original artwork details verso; 'Copied from the original canvas 1899 by J & H. REEVE.' Henry Percy was the only son of Dr Thomas Percy (1729 - 1811) , Bishop of Dromore who died at Marseilles in 1782. The portrait this work is based on was painted by Thomas Robinson in 1794, eleven years after Henry's death.
