Good French ormolu and porcelain mounted two train mantel clock, the Japy Freres & Co movement back plate inscribed Gay Vicarino & Co, Paris striking on a bell, the 4" porcelain dial with Roman cartouche numerals on a blue ground enclosing a painted centre with winged cherubs and trailing foliage, over a panel painted with a reclining lady attended by a child over the base painted with a similar oval vignette, within an ornate case cast to the sides with scrolling foliage over an acanthus frieze to the base with rounded ends, surmounted by a raised cornice with pineapple finial, 14.5" high (with pendulum and key)
