A GERMAN ART NOUVEAU/JUGENDSTIL RUBY GLASS CLARET JUG BY WMF with etched bramble decoration, topped with a pewter spout and hinged lid with stylised flowing floral decoration and a quintessential Art Nouveau whiplash handle, marked WMB, research indicates the WM probably stands for Metealwarenfabrik and the B is for Britannia Metal (a pewter like alloy), circa 1900 (Condition report: the jug is in very good used condition with only slight signs of age and use)
