A VICTORIA GOLD HALF-SOVEREIGN – 1890, Jubilee portrait of Queen Victoria, crowned, vailed bust facing left, Latin legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA and toothed border surrounding. The reverse with crowned quartered shield of the Royal arms in frame, Latin legend BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF and toothed border surrounding. Weight: 3.97g. The Latin legend translates as “Victoria, by the Grace of God’ to the front and “Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith” to reverse. Condition fine as photographed
