A Chinese Ming dynasty Longquan celadon glazed lotus form dish – heavily potted, probably 18th century, with barbed rim and incised foliate decoration, 27cm diameter, the glaze heavily worn, possibly a shipwreck piece (the rim with large restored chip and hairline crack).

* The glaze heavily worn throughout, especially to the centre of the dish - possibly a shipwreck piece. The rim with large restored chip with rather crudely executed overpainting, with an associated hairline crack running down from the restoration. Large glaze flake from inside the footrim.
