A 19th century American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial fraternity sword by Ames in its metal scabbard. Having a knights helmet pommel, a wooden handle and metal crosspiece connected by a chain. The scabbard having a red enamel cross with IN HOC SIGNO & VINCES. The double edged blade etched with the owners name Christian Hansen. and adorned with Masonic symbols including WASHINGTON COMMANDERY No.4 K.T.and the makers name: Ames Sword Co. Chicopee, Mass.. Blade length 71cms.
