A Gauge One exhibition quality scratch built model of Andre Chapelon’s iconic SNCF 242.A.1, 2-4-2 tender locomotive, built by the Finescale Locomotive Company (under Neil Rose) from a commission. The model contains an impressive level of detail, including the cab bulk head, valve gear and motion. In order to prevent compromise on the detailing between the frames, the model is unpowered. Professionally painted and lined, and with applied metal cabside and tender numbers.

A Gauge One exhibition quality scratch built model of Andre Chapelon?s iconic SNCF 242.A.1, 2-4-2 tender locomotive, built by the Finescale Locomotive Company (under Neil Rose) from a commission. The model contains an impressive level of detail, including the cab bulk head, valve gear and motion. In order to prevent compromise on the detailing between the frames, the model is unpowered. Professionally painted and lined, and with applied metal cabside and tender numbers.
In generally very good condition. One set of cab side steps requires partially reattaching and valve gear locks after quarter of a turn.
