11989 - Norrie Harman's "Feral Angel" is an original oil painting on primed Fabriano paper from his 2018 dystopian series, "The Pentland Experiment." Born in 1981 in Scotland, Harman is a member of the Art Collective Ltd Ink Corporation. He is known for his remarkable creativity in painting, photography, and deconstructive digital art. Influenced by Francis Bacon and German Expressionists like Max Beckmann, Norrie’s work is characterized by its hard edges, raw emotion, and at times, disturbing imagery. Harman's passion for the arts developed during his time at the Edinburgh College of Art, where he graduated in 2001. He was awarded the Latimer Prize from the Royal Scottish Academy, which recognizes exceptional young Scottish painters.
