A GEORGE IV SILVER PAIR CASED POCKET WATCH, Birmingham 1829, by Jn. Roberts, Ruabon (?), the dial with white enamel chapter ring with black Roman numerals enclosing a foliate engraved gilt metal centre and with a gilt metal bezel engraved 'Keep Me Clean and Use Me Well, And I To You The Truth Will Tell', the fusee movement with lift-off dust cover, in a plain case
Appears to be in working order when wound, minute hand is loose, a clean watch, dial 4.5cm diameter including engraved bezel. Roberts of Ruabon appears to have been a clock maker rather than a watch maker.
