A majolica glazed jardinière/centrepiece, likely by Delphin Massier, designed in the grotesque manner, applied twin devil masks with prominent high relief moulded faces on a boat shaped body, with elaborate scroll work and drapery, instinctively marked to base, 32cm long, c.1890.
