A 38 bore flintlock boxlock pocket pistol by Archer, c 1800, 7½" overall, turn off barrel 3¼", with early B'ham proofs, the signed frame engraved with simple swags, with raised pan, top safety which secures the frizzen, hidden trigger, and plain walnut butt. WO & basically GC (action weak, cock and top safety repaired, top jaw and screw replaced). Probably by Archer & Son of Birmingham.
