** VERY RARE XXXX-RATED ADELAIDE "JUBILEE EXHIBITION" SQUARED CIRCLES (CODES 1 & 2) ON DLR 2d VALUES; 7 Oct. & 20 Dec. 1887 examples of the De La Rue 2d (both with slight faults but attractive) each with a nearly complete strike of the very rare (recorded for a few months in 1887 only) "JUBILEE EXHIBITION/S_A" Squared Circle, codes "1" and "2" respectively. Rare pair of codes. Very attractive; only a handful of examples are recorded. Ex Sherwood. Sold for £220 in our June 2011 sale.
