c1952 Scarce England International Rugby Jersey: Period piece, white England jersey made by Bukta, supplied by Lilywhites, both labels present, rose badge on rectangular sewn-on patch, black no.8 integral (dyed?) to the rear. Understood by the vendor to have been worn by RV 'Bob' Stirling, RAF and England stalwart prop (at that stage 8 was a prop's number), capped 18 times 1951-4 and skipper 1954. Comes with two programmes from his time with England, v S Africa and (pirate) v Wales, both January 1952. All VG condition after 70+ years
