Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Torsion Mantel Clock , Needs Setting .

More Information

A single Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos mantel clock. The clock is housed in a rectangular case constructed from polished and brushed gold-toned metal framing and five clear glass panels, allowing visibility of the movement. The mechanism is driven by the Atmos system, utilizing changes in atmospheric temperature and pressure. The clock features a round white dial with a skeletonized center revealing the brass movement and gearing. The time is indicated by applied gold-toned baton indices and Arabic numerals at the quarter hours (3, 6, 9, 12). The dial is inscribed JAEGER-LECOULTRE above the center and ATMOS / SWISS MADE below the six position. A large, horizontal, cylindrical torsion balance wheel is visible behind the dial, characteristic of the Atmos design.
