A dragonfly yellow metal coloured brooch, extremely detailed and fine, the tail and body consisting of a string of graduated sapphires, with ruby eyes and the wings set with a large number of graduated diamonds. Wing span 6 cm, length 4.5 cm (see illustration).
Weight 15.8 grams,. The diamonds all appear to be quite bright stones and we cannot see any inclusions with the naked eye or with a 5 x loupe.
