An early 19th c pearlware nursery plate, c 1820, For it was ever our delight [...], transfer-printed in blue with a boy, his sister, and verse, the border moulded in relief with fruiting vine, 16cm diam, a similar earthenware plate, Innocent Quarrel, decorated with a brother and sister fighting, a beast pulls at her dress, borders moulded in relief with foliage, picked out in polychrome, 17.5cm diam, further plates, THE CHAISE, 17cm diam, and FEARFUL OF CORRECTION, 14.5cm diam, others, WEAVING, POOR RICHARD'S WAY TO WEALTH, etc., (8)

Good condition, with some stacking and further wear, a few examples with light manufacturing blemishes. One or two examples with varying degrees of crazing. Earthenware plate with three men with flat surface chips to relief moulded decoration. Poor Richard's Way to Wealth dense and with a lot of pitting to verso.
