BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA: Stockbook with the early to modern used collection (with duplication). Some useful 1920s/30s issues, but very few horizontal pairs. Main interest is at the back of the book with C.O.G.H., Natal, Orange River Colony, Transvaal, etc. We note 8 C.O.G.H. 'triangulars' to 1/- (2) with variable margins. Lot also incl. a 1892 pamphlet of 23 pages (loose) entitled "Natal Handbook & Map" issued by the "Emigrants Information Office" detailing living conditions & stereotyped descriptions of the native populations.
