A large Chinese porcelain ginger jar, cover and stand, 18th century, of typical ovoid form and painted to the exterior in the famille rose palette depicting chrysanthemum sprays emerging from a rocky outcrop, 25cm high excluding stand (at fault)
The body shows extensive stained cracks throughout. Some pitting and chipping. The decoration appears good. Some glaze chips where cracks present as surface reaching. The cover with cracks and glued repairs.
