Two Italian terracotta heads, typical of the characters used in Neapolitan nativity puppetry. From a set used by the master ceramicist, set designer and puppeteer Allilio Monti (1923-2003) but produced earlier. Circa 1890, both 9cms h. By repute these were purchased directly from the descendants of Monti.
