A very pretty original watercolour on paper painting by Irish artist Olivia Hayes. Showing a harbour scene featuring fishing boats moored on a calm day. Signed bottom right and housed in a cream frame. Hayes has a good auction history with works selling at Whyte's in the early hundreds.

Olivia Hayes was born in Dublin and completed a four year full time degree in Design and a postgraduate year in Education at the National College of Art and Design. During her studies at the NCAD she won several awards and international scholarships .Olivia has worked at the Kilkenny Design Centre and taught art at both second and third level. Her main interest is watercolour painting and her work mainly comprises landscapes of the West of Ireland and Wicklow and streetscapes of Dublin.
