1793-1814 MGSM 6 clasps Ciudad Rodrigo, Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Orthes, Toulouse officially impressed to T. Dudlow, Gunner, R.H. Arty, marks to field, light edge knocks otherwise good very fine, includes copies of medal rolls.
Thomas Dudlow (listed as Thos. in some records) served with the Royal Horse Artillery throughout the Peninsular war, where he served with Major Mcdonald and Captain Gardiner's troops. He applied for the Badajoz clasp also but this was disallowed. He further took part in the battle of Waterloo (entitled to medal), where he was still in Captain Gardiner's troops. He was discharged from the Army on 31st January 1819 in consequence of reduction. (R)
