A Royal Worcester 'Fallen Fruit' pot pourri and cover hand-painted by Derek Shinnie, late 20th century, of lobed form, printed maker's mark and painted 'H278' and 'RS/P' to base, 14cm high; with a further similar example, indistinctly signed, printed maker's mark and painted 'H/291A' and 'D.H.' to base, 13.5cm high (at fault) (2)
The Shinnie example shows minor wear including minor rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration. The indistinctly signed example shows a loss to the tip of the finial, but no obvious cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration.
