A Set of 13 Cast Metal Figurines Depicting British Monarchs
This lot comprises a set of 13 cast metal figurines representing various monarchs from British history. Each figure is produced from a silvery-grey white metal alloy, consistent with pewter, and is mounted upon an individual black stepped base. The figures are detailed with historical costumes, armour, and regalia. Each base features a rectangular metallic-finish label identifying the monarch and their regnal dates. Identified figures include Alfred the Great (871-899), Harold II (1066), Richard I (1189-1199), Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Charles I (1625-1649), Queen Victoria (1837-1901), and Edward VII (1901-1910). A figure in the unmistakable style of Henry VIII is also present. Each figurine stands approximately 5 inches tall.
