This lot comprises of 3 Large 42 x 30 cm black and white photographs taken by Masayoshi Sukita. Including `David Profile` a similar to David Rests and the album artwork. Taken in 1977 the time of the release of the `Heroes` album.
Purchased by the Vendor in 1991 in Brisol - Housed in two large folders the photographs have been split according to the era of David Bowies Career into an impressive 21 lots of Photographs.
Masayoshi Sukita is a renowned Japanese photographer born in 1938. He gained international acclaim for his iconic images of musicians and celebrities, most notably his long-term collaboration with David Bowie. Sukita’s creative partnership with Bowie lasted for 40 years until Bowie’s death in 2016. His striking photographs captured Bowie’s various personas, including the famous Ziggy Stardust look. Sukita’s work remains influential.
