Paper repair at gutter on blank bef. frontis., causing creasing, plts. and text mostly clean, wear on leather at corners, spine preserves a lt. of original, nr. contemp. inscription at front (Apr. 1793). (II), ii, 56, 35-48, 45-60, (2), 49-112, XII, 113-320pp.; i.e. collates with Goulden (T.W. no.II), incl. the plates. nb. the (2)pp. after p.60 consist of a pedigree with relevant verso text; pp. (79 and 80) are another title page (dated 1785) with verso blank. Title with sm. illus. and engr. dedication (p.3)
