An extremely rare William & Mary period small English silver Christening Cup, with contemporary engraved and etched decoration, with band of flowers and birds in flight, the rim engraved 'F.S. 1693' approx. 8cms (3 1/2") high, date mark London 1692-93. (1)
Hallmark slightly worn but legible; engraving design crisp and clear; inscription F.S. 1693 clear. Possible repair to rim; minor tarnishing to base. No gilt on interior. 7cms diameter on top; 2.6 ounces
