Capt SAMUEL BRUNT. 'A Voyage to Cacklogallinia: With a Description of the Religion, Policy, Customs and Manners, of that Country,' rebound with pebbled cloth boards, lacking frontispiece, J. Watson, London, 1727. Written under the pseudonym of Samuel Brunt-and in the past laid at Daniel Defoe's door- the book is a satire, inspired by the South Sea Bubble fiasco, in which, during a visit to a country inhabited by fowl, the narrator becomes involved in a scheme to prospect for gold on the moon.
