A FINE EDWARDIAN OCTAGONAL SHAPED LIFT-TOP WORK TABLE / SMALL WRITING TABLE, with rosewood cross-banding top having inset tooled red leather (in very good condition) with lovely intricate foliage & fleur de lis detailing found to the gilt tooling, the top lifts to reveal compartments within. Raised on tapered splayed leg with ebonised inlaid detailing united by turned ‘x’ stretcher and terminating on castors. Condition: over all excellent, there is some ware which would be commensurate with age and does not detract from the piece. Dimensions: 76 x 52 x 39cm (H x W x D).
