A set of seven (6+1) William IV mahogany dining chairs The top rails with volute ends, over scroll-form splats and drop-in seats, raised on turned, reeded front supports, comprising one carver and six standard chairs. Seat height 48cm (7) Condition:One of the standard chairs has a split to the right back rail running into the back support. Another chair appears to have had the same malady in the past but has been restored/repaired. Some joint shrinkage where the front supports meet the seat side rails. General cosmetic marks and scuffs as well as old patinated scratches and dings consistent with age and use.
