An 18th century Continental silver shaped serpentine snuff box, chased in the Rococo taste with Arcadian vignettes, traces of gilding, 8cm wide, indistinctly marked, c.1750
Generally ok, no holes, splits or solder, the gilding worn to a trace, some wear, with a degree of softening to the decoration, particularly to the cover, feels substantial in the hand though and is of good gauge, please see photographs
