A PAIR OF EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER SALTS by Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield 1845, of rounded conical form, stamped and pierced with scrolls and foliage below an everted rim and raised upon a quatrefoil foot, 3 1/2" diameter, 4ozs 8dwts total, with one original blue glass liner
In remarkably good condition with no apparent repairs, clear marks stamped on rims. SOld in last sale but one of the liner's was damaged prior to sale
