A FINE 17TH - 18TH CENTURY SOUTH INDIAN BRONZE JAIN SHRINE

A finely crafted South Indian bronze Jain shrine dating to the 17th-18th century. The central figure depicts a standing Tirthankara in kayotsarga (meditative posture), surrounded by attendants seated on lotus thrones. The shrine is framed by an ornate arch with intricate floral and geometric motifs, typical of South Indian craftsmanship.
