A late 19c Swiss music box having a 27.5cm barrel playing two thirty seven tooth combs plays a fifteen note reed organ mounted between them. The box lid has a replacement tune paper which does not name the tunes played. The box is veneered in walnut with rectangular line inlays to the front and a large inlay of musical instruments and foliage to the lid. The box is 54cm w.
The movement is in good playing condition with no teeth missing on the two combs, but the reed organ needs some adjustments to make it work efficiently. The box is in generally good condition with some slight lifting to a small area of veneer on the front.
