This is a rare opportunity to acquire the complete instrument set up from the former Scout Green signal box, on the West Coast main line between Shap and Tebay. This lot incudes; A pair of London & North Western Railway Fletchers Block instruments, plated Shap and Tebay respectively, one has a damaged lock, the other is unlocked but no keys; complete block shelf with all the repeaters still wired on, needs cleaning up; signal box telephone from the shelf, needs tidying; in/out switch from the shelf, needs tidying; kick board with all the plates and finally the framed and glazed signal box diagram. Everything is here bar the lever frame itself. Black and white photographs can be provided showing it all it situ in use, before closure. All obtained from the vendor upon closure and stored since. To give an idea of size, the block shelf is 66 inches long by 16 inches deep, and the Fletchers instruments are 25 inches high, the diagram is 33 x 18 inches. Shipping band - collection only.
