A late 18th Century flintlock pistol by Archer, London, with engraved steel fittings, the trigger guard with acorn finial, the lockplate signed 'Archer' and with slide safety, the 8⅛" (20.5cm) octagonal barrel with stamped proof marks and inscribed 'London' to top, with later replacement horn-tipped wooden ramrod. Approx. 33.5cm long overall
