A George II silver tankard, John Payne, London 1752, of baluster form on circular foot with scrolling handle, decorated with embossed scrolling foliate detail and vacant cartouche, 12cm high, weight 10.61ozt

Numerous small dents to the body, mostly concentrated around the baluster base. Some denting/misshaping to the rim and foot, causing the tankard to wobble slightly on a level surface. No splitting or signs of repair. Hallmarks to base are crisp and clear.
