Pair of Delft Blue and White Lidded Vases with Windmill Scenes
Matched pair of Delftware ceramic vases of baluster form, hand painted in cobalt blue with oval cartouches depicting windmill, cottages and waterway, framed by floral and scroll motifs. Each with domed lid and animal finial, and stylised borders to neck and base. Underside with blue painted mark 15. Late 19th to early 20th century. Approximately 12 inches high and 4.5 inches across the base.
