LARGE, EARLY 19th CENTURY BRONZE MEDALLION REGARDING THE COVENT GARDEN OLD PRICE RIOTS 1809, the reverse featuring probably John Bull seated on a cow with a human head and waving two penants declaring Old Price to one and Open Boxes to the other, the words from 'N-to-O Jack you must go' above, smaller satirical/poetical text below, obverse with musical trophy and P within an O (Old Prices), 'God save the King' above a smaller text below, 1 11/16in (4.3cm) diameter (EF) and a SMALLER RELATED COPPER MEDALLION, obverse centred with OP and text around 'John Bulls Jubilee - Clifford forever', reverse with bust of a jester, trumpet and rattle and text around 'On my head aitches - obstinacy', 1in (2.5cm) diameter (VF) (2)
