A pair of E J D Bodley dessert plates, c1880-1892, painted by J Birbeck, both signed, with landscapes en camaieu, in raised gilt surround, reserved on a fluted primrose ground, scalloped gilt rim, 23cm diam, sepia printed mark and that of the retailer Jones, McDuffee & Stratton, painted pattern No 5/7879 and titles Blea Tarn or Glengariffe in puce script
Undamaged. Blea Tarn plate with diagonal scratch across leg. Glengariffe plate very slightly scratched but hardly noticeable
