The content (now missing) may have referred to the recent death of the addressee's nephew, Captain Horace Cust and July 1859 letter (no contents) written at Osborne House 'There is a man in the neighbourhood....who says that he acted as an interpreter to the British Fleet in the Baltic in '54/55.....he has been a servant in several Russian families...
