WW2 British Escape & Evasion Wire Saw. RAF Aircrew issue. Gigli saw comprised of a flexible length of minutely serrated/barbed wire with simple split ring 'handles' at each end. Originally invented for amputation use in surgery, MI9's Clayton Hutton realised the potential of these for survival and escape and evasion purposes.
