[1], 776 columns. Greek type in double columns. Large woodcut printer's device in colophon, one woodcut initial. The first edition published in a German-speaking country, correcting the Aldine edition of 1514, with Thomas Anshelm's striking device copied after Albrecht Dürer.

Condition: occasional light browning and a few ink annotations to margins. One leaf repaired, slightly encroaching onto text. Stained to gutter of title. Later full calf, re-backed to spine. Worn with loss to edges. New endpapers. 300mm x 200mm.
