A Collection of Framed Prints and Photographs, Various Subjects, 20th Century

More Information

A diverse collection of eleven framed artworks, primarily prints and photographs, dating from the mid-to-late 20th Century. The collection includes a variety of subjects and styles, reflecting common decorative tastes of the period, ranging from traditional English genre scenes to modern landscape photography.

The group comprises:

1. Five small, vertically oriented color prints depicting traditional English cottage and garden scenes, framed in reddish-brown wood.

2. One large print featuring a domestic cat genre scene, framed with a decorative linen-look mat.

3. One medium-sized print of a winter landscape, double-matted and framed in dark wood. This work aligns stylistically with mid-century folk art landscape prints referenced in the Web Intelligence report.

4. One large monochromatic print, likely an etching or engraving, depicting a wide landscape with a bridge and distant mountains.

5. One contemporary color photograph of a lake with a boat in the foreground, set in a minimal wooden frame.

6. One print of an ivy-covered building inscribed HADDON HALL, framed in a slim gold frame with a wide brown mat.

7. One small, oval print featuring a gold-toned depiction of a galleon sailing on rough seas, set in an ornate gold frame.

The collection is offered as a single lot. Inscription HADDON HALL visible lower center of the architectural print.
